Hands down best bagels in the neighborhood. I get them toasted with butter or a sandwich. Yum. They are nice enough not to turn me off and fast enough not to make me impatient. Im here 3x a week minimum.

This review is for their Italian combo sandwich only.
So in my quest of a good Italian combo here in the heights, this one was pretty tasty! It had a nice portion of ham, salami, provolone, lettuce, tomato, onions and pickles? I love pickles and all but I swapped it out for some jalapeños since I like it spicy! Oh and their bread was good too, that's important when it comes to any sandwich.
All in all, I was happy with this sandwich. I would've given it a full 5 stars had they added prosciutto and/or pepperoni since all the real Italian combos I've had in my life has had one or the other, sometimes both!
Service was fast and friendly; everyone working there seemed to be happy. So far, this is one of the better Italian combos I've found in the heights. I would definitely get that sandwich again and again.
*Update 9/25/19
So I went and ordered the same sandwich but unfortunately it was a giant let down.
I went in on Wednesday after 5pm; the guy behind the counter had the worst energy, he was miserable and I could tell he just didn't want to be there and in turn, he took it out on my sandwich, why?
He didn't weigh the meat(supposed to be 1/3lbs for a hero) so he skimped out on that as well as the rest of what goes on my sandwich.
The first time I got it during lunch time and it was all smiles and the sandwich was proper. In the evening, it was made with no love whatsoever.
While the first got a 4/5 stars, this one was 2/5. I'm kind of disappointed as I thought I found a steady go-to spot for one of my favorite sandwiches. -

Quick and simple bakery that will satisfy your own to go breakfast needs. Fort Washington Bakery right on W. 181 St across the street from Starbucks is a nice and cozy bakery with fresh bagels, sandwiches and other traditional baked goods.

Great food. Can get busy and so can take some time. The guys in the morning aren't the friendliest, but they make great sandwiches.

Best bagels in the neighborhood. They are no nonsense when it's busy, but Eddie is the man!
